# Points of Interest (POI)

The **POI** [widget](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/..#widget) shows [interplanetary sectors ](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors)that contain [sub-mining areas](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#local-points-of-interest) where [ships](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar#ship-details) can warp or travel between them.&#x20;

By selecting a [sector](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors), you can view all the essential information, including the costs of warping (listed in [**FTL**](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/production/manufactory-complex/fuel-production#ftl-fuel) fuel), estimated travel time (**ETA -** Estimated Time of Arrival), the distance from the [hangar](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar) (**DIST**), and the [sector](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors) ID, along with a button to warp to that [sector](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors).

Traveling into different [interplanetary sectors ](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors)will require fuel. Keep in mind that the farther a [sector](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors) is from the center of the [solar system](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems#the-solara-system-a-gateway-to-the-universe), the greater the fuel cost will be.

After the [ship](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar#ship-details) successfully warps into the selected  [interplanetary sector](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors), you can zoom in using the **Inspect** button in the [**Ship Details** ](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/ship-details)[widget](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/..#widget) or by clicking on the **Zoom into Sector** option in the [**POI**](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors)[ sector](https://farfromhome.gitbook.io/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields#interplanetary-sectors) list.
