# Ship Details

The **Ship Details** [widget](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map.md#widget) displays all the ship's stats, including the [ship’s](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details) name,[ type specifications](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar/industrial-ships.md), [condition](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#maintenance), fuel and [storage](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#storage) levels, and current state. It also allows to control the ship with different control buttons, depending on the[ ship's' type](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar/industrial-ships.md) and state:

Depending on the current zoom level, the list will either show [**POI** (points-of-interest)](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/points-of-interest-poi.md) in the Starmap view or[ **LPOI** (local-points-of-interest)](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/local-points-of-interest-lpoi.md) in case an actual [ship](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details) is inspected.

## Ship State

The **State** bar in the [**Ship Details** ](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/ship-details.md)[widget](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map.md#widget) provides information about the current actions or activities the ship is engaged in. It indicates the progress of these ongoing activities.

## Ship Storage

After extraction, all collected [ice](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields/ice-categories.md) and [minerals](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields/asteroid-categories/composite-ores.md) are moved to **Storage**. The [ship’s](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details) **Storage** is accessible through the arrow icon<img src="/files/hslZaJG863hRD580C1Sn" alt="" data-size="line">on the [storage](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#storage) level bar in the [Ship Details](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map/ship-details.md) [widget](/galactopedia/gameplay/star-map.md#widget).

Extracted items in **Storage** can be inspected for more details or removed. Each [ship's](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details) **Storage** has a limited capacity, so it is advisable to carefully manage which items to keep.&#x20;

To remove an item from **Storage**, first select the item to highlight it, then click the **Discard** button, and choose the amount that you want todiscard.

The stored [ice](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields/ice-categories.md) and [minerals](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields/asteroid-categories/composite-ores.md) can be then unloaded into the [warehouse](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/storage-complex.md) using the **Unload** button.&#x20;

## Ship Refuel

Refueling is only permitted on docked [ships](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details). [Ships](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details) that are warped into [sectors](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/star-systems/asteroid-fields.md) can be returned to the [hangar](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md) by clicking the "Warp Home" button. Both types of fuel—[**STL** (slower-than-light) ](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/production/manufactory-complex/fuel-production.md#stl-fuel)and[ **FTL** (faster-than-light)](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/production/manufactory-complex/fuel-production.md#ftl-fuel)—can be refilled during refueling.&#x20;

Fuel types can be selected in the header of the **Refuel** popup.

## Ship Repair

Cosmic radiation and external forces can seriously damage [ships](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details) over the time they spend in space. All [ships](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#ship-details), therefore, need constant [maintenance](/galactopedia/basic-game-pillars/hangar.md#maintenance).
