Contracts
Contracts convert live industrial demand into objectives across logistics, discovery, and extraction.

Hauling Contracts
Hauling Contracts form the logistical backbone of the industrial economy. Issued at the Main Station, they turn live movement needs into scheduled shipments with clear origin–destination lanes, cargo definitions, and payout terms in SOREN or materials. Players select a Hauling Ship, choose the number of cycles, and run consistent turns that keep refineries supplied, engineering complexes building, and distribution centers balanced. Their purpose is straightforward: keep refineries supplied, engineering complexes building, and storage hubs balanced so production chains never stall. Each assignment formalizes a logistics lane and pays out through one of two intents:
Transport Contracts – Transfer bulk cargo between major industrial hubs, supporting the backbone of sector logistics.
Delivery Contracts – Execute priority deliveries, earning Soren for exceptional performance and efficiency.
Fleet Integration elevates the model from single-hull runs to coordinated logistics. A Navis Command Ship can orchestrate a formation of multiple Hauling Ships, reducing aggregate cost and increasing total lift through synchronized routing, shared command overhead, and disciplined turnaround. In practice, Navis-led fleets deliver measurable advantages on hauling work:
Perfect Mission Efficiency — Orchestrated runs improve routing, handling, and cycle sequencing for lower operating overhead.
+10% Bonus Rewards — Superior coordination translates into higher mission payouts on clean executions.
−10% Maintenance Cost Reduction — Predictive systems and reinforced engineering reduce wear across repeated cycles.
−10% Fleet Fuel Consumption — Optimized thrust management and propulsion synchronization cut burn across the lane.
Fleet Capacity — One Navis coordinates up to five ships, scaling volume and stabilizing cadence over extended campaigns.
Discovery Contracts
Discovery contracts convert unknown asteroid fields into verified opportunities through calibrated survey probes. Operations focus on large, deep-space bodies beyond routine scan ranges, establishing composition, density, and structural stability with high-confidence telemetry. The outcome is an authoritative survey record with measurable data and sets the foundation for industrial scale.
Survey probes are dispatched to prospective fields, precision readings are collected and validated, and the target is either cleared or rejected for follow-on operations. A successful Discovery Contract elevates a candidate from map artifact to actionable site; the verified dossier registers the asteroid within station systems and unlocks a Mining Contract on that specific body.

Mining Contracts
High-fidelity scans reduce waste, stabilize yield expectations, and shorten the path from identification to extraction. Opening a Mining Contract on a confirmed target unifies command coordination, haul planning, and extraction deployment into a single, coherent operation.
Mining Contracts convert a verified Discovery finding into sustained industrial extraction on a specific asteroid body. Execution centers on coordinated fleet roles. Navis provides command orchestration, synchronizing extraction cycles, cargo sequencing, and turnaround so industrial hulls and extraction drones operate as a single system. Drones perform the close-in work—cutting, collecting, and transferring—while cargo platforms lift material from site to staging with minimal idle time.
